Over 250 persons have been detained in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of escalating federal border security measures, according to authority reports.

Growing Federal Measures

Charlotte represents the most recent American city to face heightened federal deployment, following comparable operations in larger metropolitan areas like Chicago and Los Angeles previously. Administration representatives have asserted that those detained include individuals with criminal backgrounds and organized crime affiliates.
